The annual trans-Africa safari allows an exclusive brand of courageous train connoisseurs’ on a world famed journey. This epic 15-day train journey travels through South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania and is amongst the most renowned on the globe.
The rail journey begins in Cape Town, South Africa, heading towards Metjiesfontein in utmost comfort and style. Train enthusiast gather diamond panning skills in Kimberley, spend two days in a game reserve before continuing through Botswana into Zimbabwe to another plush Victoria Falls Hotel. The privileged traveler crosses the mighty Zambezi River in comfort and leisure, to allow for a bush walk in Zambia. The train descends into the Great Rift Valley to arrive at the Selous Game Reserve – largest Game Park on the continent – before bustling into Dar Es salaam the following day.
